Three more soldiers have lost their lives.
Three more families, relatives and friends mourn the loss of their husband,
son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, uncle or friend. The campaign sends it's heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed. We know many mother and fathers, wives and brothers/sisters of soldiers who serve in the first battalion of The Black Watch - we can only imagine your pain and grief at this time. The soldiers of The Black Watch are among the bravest and most professional in the world. This is not the time, nor situation to discuss issues regarding the deployment of The Black Watch to Camp Dogwood. We would only say that should Tony Blair wish to honour the deaths of the soldiers he expresses his deepest sympathies for, that he should immediately announce the end of his government's plan to amalgamate The Black Watch out of existence. This is the most fitting tribute he could pay to the memories of these brave young men of The Black Watch regiment. |
